Summer Reading

The 2025 Summer Reading Program Graphic

Get Ready for a Summer Reading Adventure!

Get your reading list prepared because the 2025 Summer Reading season is just around the corner. Meridian Library District cordially invites you to join us this summer from May 23 - August 2 on an epic adventure! We have a summer of reading, activities, and programs planned for a summer of fun. Reading is just the beginning!

All ages are encouraged to participate. We will have reading categories for Kids (0-12), Teens (13-18), and Adults (19+).

Track Your Progress

Beanstack is the online program for all patrons to use to track their progress in the Summer Reading Challenge. We encourage everyone to use either the MLD Beanstack webpage or download the app:

Patrons can choose a specific program based on their age. A tutorial is available that explains how to register and log reading for Beanstack.

If patrons would prefer to track their progress on paper, you can visit the library to obtain a copy of the paper reading log.

Summer Reading Challenges for All Ages

We are excited to include all ages in our summer reading program again for 2025. Prizes are based on the age category. Examples of prizes include free books, buttons, treasure box prizes, and World Center for Birds of Prey day passes, to name a few!
