Welcome to Sensory Play Space!

On the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month, the Children's Program room is converted into a Sensory Play Space for our younger patrons who need a quieter place to play and explore. Each week will have a different theme, such as colors, shapes, dinosaurs, gardening, etc. Different sensory stimulating activities and objects will be available, such as textured tile, light projector, bean bags, sensory bin, and sensory activities.

Guidelines for using the Space

  • Everyone is welcome here!
  • Please be kind to others
  • Keep the room tidy
  • Please keep all toys and objects in the room
  • Parents and Guardians must be present
  • Please no food or drinks 

Sensory Aids Available

If your child has sensory sensitivities, sensory aids are available, headphones, fidget toys, weighted lap pad, etc.
