ILL Request

By filling out this form, I authorize the Meridian Library to order the requested item from another library. I understand that it may take several days to several weeks for the item to arrive. I agree to pick up the item when it arrives and to return it by the due date. See our Interlibrary Loan Policy for more information.

Enter each item individually. Items in the additional notes line or more than one title in the title line will not be requested.

Please note, ILLs will not be held in the 24-hour hold room at our Orchard Park branch. ILL holds at Orchard Park can be picked up during regular operating hours at the front desk. 

What cannot be requested?

  • Current year copyright material (Please submit a Purchase Request)
  • Items in current high demand
  • Items owned by Treasure Valley LYNX libraries
  • Magazines and newspapers (although copies of specific articles may be requested which may require a copying fee)
  • Microfilm
  • Board games
  • Video games

LIMIT: Patrons are limited to ten (10) interlibrary loan requests at a time.

ILL updates can only be provided by email (preferred and fastest option) or by phone call. 

Please include the full name of the item, including a subtitle if applicable.
List the author, artist, actor, or director who created the work. This may include an editor for a compilation or anthology or the director of a film.

Please note: Interlibrary loan items are no longer available for pick-up at the Silverstone branch. 

To defray shipping costs, a fee of $4.00 will be assessed for items that are not picked up; this includes items that are cancelled after the request has been processed in the system. Fees will also be assessed for lost, damaged, or overdue items.
