WHEN: Wednesday, August 30th from 5:30 - 7:30pm
WHERE: Meridian Library at Orchard Park

The Meridian Library District will be hosting a T1D (Type 1 Diabetes) Community Health Fair! This free community event will offer:

- resources from local organizations and vendors that support and serve families with Type 1 Diabetes
- crafts, games, and activities
- special story times featuring T1D characters
- giveaways, and more!


WHO SHOULD COME? Everyone is invited! Whether you're a T1D family looking for community resources, or interested in learning more about the signs & symptoms of Type 1 Diabetes...this event is for you! 

JDRF & the Meridian Library Foundation will also be onsite offering free dinner to the first 200 guests. 

 Free dinner includes:

- 1 slice of pizza*
- 1 diet soda
- 1 Kona Ice Snow Cone (9oz)
*approximate carb count per slice will be provided

KONA ICE FLAVOR WAVE STATION
The Foundation is excited to be partnering with Kona Ice, who will be recreating their top 10 flavors with Stevia to be completely SUGAR-FREE for this event! Choose your own flavor adventure from the Flavor Wave:

- Blue Raspberry - Ninja Cherry - Groovy Grape - Island Rush
- Lucky Lime - Monster Mango - Pina Colada - Strawberry Treasure
- Tiger's Blood - Watermelon Wave
