The Meridian Library Board of Trustees has extended an offer to Gretchen Caserotti to serve as our new library director! Gretchen is coming to us from the Darien, Connecticut, public library, where she serves as Assistant Director for Public Services. She will begin her duties as our new director no later than April 1st, 2013. All of us at the Cherry Lane library, Silverstone branch, and Bookmobile are thrilled to have such an energetic and capable director. We are certain that we have a great future in store! The Meridian Library District has narrowed our search for a new library director down to two candidates: Gretchen Caserotti and Jeffrey A. Trinkle. The Silverstone branch library is now accepting applications for a part-time page. This position is for 15 hours per week, and will be responsible for shelving and maintaining the proper order of books, magazines, and other library materials, as well as other duties.
