Summer Reading starts June 1st at all Meridian Library District locations, but you don't have to wait until then to get started! Sign up now and don't forget to join us on June 5th at Settler's Park for our Summer Reading Kickoff 3:00PM-Dusk. Your entire family can earn prizes all summer long for reading and attending programs.

Craft Corner- Bird Feeders

Join us on June1st, 6:00 PM at our Cherry Lane location for Craft Corner where we will be making recycled bottle bird feeders. Ages 12+ are welcome to sign up here. All supplies will be provided.

Author Visit: Elizabeth George

We are excited to host award winning author, Elizabeth George, at our Cherry Lane location on Friday, May 29th, 7:00 PM. Elizabeth is on tour to promote her new Young Adult Mystery, The Edge of Shadows. Elizabeth will do a reading from the book, and will follow with a book signing. Rediscovered Books will be at the event with books available to purchase.

Learn a New Language!

Donation Needed

Meridian Library District is in need of a golf cart or UTV, in good working condition, to shuttle books and equipment between the main library building and our Annex building. Non-cash donations are eligible for state and federal tax deductions for 2015. If you have a golf cart or UTV that you'd like to donate to the library, please contact our Deputy Director, Janet Emery, at janet@mld.org.
