Adult Craft - Paper Quilling

Cherry Lane - Join us Monday, October 6, at 6:00 p.m. for another adult craft night. This time we'll be doing paper quilling, where we'll use different kinds of paper to make fun art! This program is for ages 12 and older. Supplies are provided, but space is limited, so email kim@mld.org to reserve your spot today!

Mayor's Book Club

Mayor's Book ClubMayor’s Book Club is right around the corner! There are still a few spots available and plenty of time to read before our October 2 meeting. Readers, grades 3-5, will collect and keep four hardcover books for their own libraries. Sign up online, at the Children’s Desk, or give us a call at 888-4451.

Meridian Reads!

Meridian ReadsWe at the library are working with community members to create a city-wide reading event for Meridian. We'll read the book and have conversations and events, and maybe even apply what we've read to the community's needs and goals!

A selection committee has narrowed the choices to three books: All the Light We Cannot See, by Anthony Doerr; David and Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell; and the Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin.

Vote for your choice today!
