The Meridian Library at Silverstone is currently registering families for the Every Child Ready to Read program. Every Child Ready to Read is a free program for families with children ages 0-6. Participants will learn how to foster their child's future reading success by learning and applying the six early literacy skills. Join us for three free, fun one-hour workshops that will help you maximize your child's reading success. It's never too early to start!
The Meridian Library has two new databases! The first is MUZZY Online, an exciting new way for your children to learn a new language. It works through a story and interactive games that engage your child in exciting ways.
The second new database is Science in Context, provided by the GALE Group. This database is geared toward high school and college research, featuring authoritative source materials for all kinds of assignments and projects.
Idaho Family Reading Week will be celebrated November 12th-17th. The Meridian Library is proud to support two events during the week to promote early learning literacy and family activities. This year's theme is: Snuggle Up and Read.
