Author Pam Houston is Coming to the Meridian Library

Come down to the Cherry Lane library Saturday, February 16th, at 3:00 p.m. to meet author Pam Houston for a free reading and book signing event! Pam is the author of the novels Contents May Have Shifted and Sight Hound; and two short story collections, Cowboys Are My Weakness and Waltzing the Cat. Her books will be for sale courtesy of Hyde Park Books, with a portion of the proceeds supporting library programs.

Mystery Book Club - November 15th

The theme for November is "In Amish Country".  Come at 6:30 pm to share a mystery you have read within this genre!  Treats are served too!

Have you ever wanted to write a novel but never taken the time to sit down and start?  Well November is National Novel Writing Month.  The goal is to write 50,000 words by the end of the month.  Editing can be done later, the idea is that you spend the entire month, along with thousands of others around the world, writing your own novel.
